◎影片劇情： The director of 'Sleeping Tiger' is believed to be Victor Hanbury, but this is actually the pseudonym of Joseph Losey, who was blacklisted for his first British film. Alexander Knox plays psychiatrist Clive Esmond, who believes he can stop the criminal tendencies of young fugitive Frank Clements (played by Dirk Bogard). For this reason, Esmond hid Clements in his own home. At first, Esmond's wife Glenda (played by Alexis Smith) was hostile towards the handsome swindler and gradually developed feelings for her guests. Soon after, she and Clements exchanged lustful glances. She planned to elope with Clements and create a new life for herself, but suddenly he decided he really wanted to start over. If nothing else, 'The Sleeping Tiger' is a fascinating precursor to the prevalent sexual tension in Harold Pinter's later adaptations by Lucy. ~Hal Ericsson, Rovi
